We are looking for a person who will bring energy creativity and enthusiasm to this role. The Technical Sales role is a pivot point between the Customers, the Sales team, the R&D Team as well as Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be a hybrid – with expertise gained from a background in both sales as well as either chemistry, engineering, or product design.
Reporting to the General Manager Sales and Marketing you will be embedded in both the Sales and R&D teams.
The successful candidate will be a great communicator and able to present technical solutions effectively to stakeholders at all levels. They will build sound and credible relationships, not only face to face but also over video. Aligning the solutions of EPL with the client’s goals. Using their work product to create technical documents including 3D drawings. This role will be a customer advocate driving a high level of customer satisfaction while maintaining and growing business profitability.
They will provide technical support to the Business Development Managers and help develop quotations and client proposals. Liaising with industry bodies and representing EPL on technical committees they will become the go to person within EPL for knowledge.
Work with our clients and the sales teams to turn the customers ideas into reality.
Liaise and manage the design process with the Global Sales Team, R&D Team and Manufacturing Team.
Develop design requirements and conceptual designs.
Work with technicians and other engineers performing production to create simple and easy to interpret processes
Support the trial and manufacturing teams in qualification testing and production of new designs.
Create detailed engineering drawings for the R&D and Sales team
